Sell online without a Stripe account
You can sell online without a Stripe account of your own. With Forge Payments you onboard as a seller inside Forge64, verify your identity and add a bank account, and your app can take payments once your account is confirmed able to accept charges. You do not create a Stripe account or paste API keys into the app. Forge Payments charges one all-in fee per sale, card processing included: Free 13% + 30¢, Pro 9% + 30¢, Business 7% + 30¢, Enterprise per contract.

How it works
- Open the connect settings in your dashboard and start onboarding. There is no Stripe sign-up step.
- Confirm your identity and add a bank account on the onboarding pages Forge Payments shows you.
- Until your account is confirmed able to accept charges, checkout is refused. After that it switches on.
- Customers pay in your app and the money is paid out to your bank account. Forge64 does not hold your funds.

Forge Payments charges one all-in fee per sale, card processing included: Free 13% + 30¢, Pro 9% + 30¢, Business 7% + 30¢, Enterprise per contract.
The smallest charge an app can take is $1.00.

What it does not do
- Forge Payments is not the seller of record and does not file or remit sales tax or VAT for you, so you stay responsible for the tax on your sales.
- Payouts for sellers outside the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Switzerland and the European Economic Area are coming soon.
- Forge Payments is rolling out: it is built and tested, and a production step is still pending, so confirm availability in your dashboard before you plan a launch around it.

- Do I need a Stripe account to sell on Forge64?
- No. Forge Payments onboards you as a seller inside Forge64, so you do not have to open a Stripe account first or copy any keys into your app. If you already have a way to take payments, the app's checkout is still generated for you.
- Can I sell online without a Stripe account at all?
- Yes, on Forge64. You verify your identity and add a bank account during Forge Payments onboarding, and payouts go to that bank account. Forge64 does not hold your funds.
- How fast can I start selling?
- As soon as your seller account is confirmed able to accept charges. How long verification takes depends on the checks the onboarding asks for, and checkout stays off until it passes.
